Festive Coffee Morning – 9th Dec – Stalybridge Methodist Church

You are invited to join Stalybridge Methodist Church for their festive coffee morning which is raising money for Action of Children. Come along from 10.30am - 12noon where you will find a warm welcome, refreshments, lucky dip and raffle.

 

Festive Family Afternoon Games - 13th Dec - Aspinal

Aspinal are holding a festive family games afternoon on Sat 13th Dec from 4pm - 6pm. Come along and play your favourite games, meet new friends and have fun. Tickets cost £5 and include food.

A Wassail Too – Hollingworth Methodist Church – 16th Dec

Come and join the "Daily Beggars" as they wassail towards Christmas with songs, seasonal readings and a warm welcome. The fun starts at 7pm at Hollingworth Methodist Church and tickets cost £5 and this includes an evening supper.

​​​Advent Knit along 2025

Are you into knitting? Would you like to take part in an Advent knit along? The idea is to knit a pattern (mystery item) everyday with an Advent reflection. If you would like to join in this, then contact Katie on admin@gtmethodist.org.

 

 

Knitted Hearts - for Rosehill

After the success of the knitted flowers for Easter at Rosehill, we would like to knit/crochet a heart for every child and member of staff at Rosehill to remind them that God loves them. If you would like to join in then email Katie for a knitting pattern at admin@gtmethodist.org. We will need them for the Sun 25th January 2026.

Recycle & Repurpose

Take time to go through the deepest, darkest hiding places in cupboards, toy boxes, the attic, basement, chests the garden shed and declutter.

 

Recycle where possible. Donate unnecessary clothes, tools, kitchenware, and furniture.

 

Repurpose the old with a brand new paint job. While going through each item, remember to think about its environmental impact so you can make better choices with the next purchase,
