Lent Lunches – Giving Up

These will start with a short time of devotion based on the theme “Giving Up” and then there will be a simple shared lunch provided by the host church. They will start at 12 noon and be finished by 1.30pm. Please put these dates in your diary.

Snow drop Fair – Hollingworth Methodist Church – 24th Feb

With hot lunches, refreshments and some stall – including a green and white one 12pm-1.30pm. All welcome.

Quiz Night – Trinity Church – Sat 24th February

MWiB Spring Gathering – Central Hall (Manchester) 2nd March

The spring gathering of the Methodist Women in Britain are meeting on Sat 2nd March from 10am til 3.15pm at Methodist Central Hall in Manchester. Refreshments provided; you will need to bring your own lunch.

Cake Sale – Rosemount Methodist Church – 3rd March

Rosemount Trinity are holding a cake sale on Sunday 3rd March from 12 noon in aid of Fairtrade. Come and enjoy some delicious cake.

 

Pastoral Teams Forum – Trinity Church – 12th March

Please note that the Pastoral Teams Forum has been changed to Tuesday 12th March at Trinity Church, Audenshaw at 2.00pm. A programme will be emailed out to churches at the end of the month.  I do hope that as many as we can of our churches can be represented. Volunteering Opportunities - NW England District

The new North West England District is looking for volunteers to help on a variety of committees. The new district will begin in Sept 2024 and they are looking to recruit volunteers to help with everything from mission, property, finance, evangelism to helping support probationers (new ministers).
